Social Diamond was founded in 2023 by Slin Vechmamontien, a GIA-certified gemologist with a background in tech startups and a deep appreciation for fine jewelry. Though her professional journey began in the tech industry, her perspective on luxury and craftsmanship shifted when she married into a family with over 40 years of fine jewelry expertise. Immersed in the world of diamonds, gemstones, and artisanal craftsmanship, she fell in love with the heritage and emotional significance behind every piece.

Inspired by the modern women around her—entrepreneurs, working moms, and high achievers—Slin recognized an opportunity to create a fine jewelry brand that speaks to them.
