As we expand into Singapore with our private appointment space and curated showcase events, we are looking for a Sales Consultant who is passionate about people, driven by sales results, and takes genuine pride in delivering a memorable client experience.
Role Overview
This is a frontline sales role. Your primary focus is converting enquiries into appointments, appointments into sales, and first-time buyers into loyal clients. You will be the face of Social Diamond during private client consultations, responsible for delivering a warm, premium experience that reflects everything the brand stands for.
You will work closely with the Sales Manager and support the day-to-day running of our Singapore showroom. This is not a strategy or business development role — it is hands-on, client-first, and results-driven. It suits someone who thrives in a direct sales environment, takes ownership of their pipeline, and genuinely loves helping people find something meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Consultation
- Lead private client appointments during showcase and non-showcase periods
- Deliver consultative, personalized client experiences from first enquiry through to sale
- Develop strong product knowledge across all collections and customization options
- Guide clients on design choices, stone selection, metal types, and styling
- Achieve individual monthly sales targets and contribute to overall Singapore sales performance
- Build client loyalty through attentive after-sales service and relationship nurturing
- Drive repeat purchases and referrals through genuine, lasting client relationships
Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Respond promptly to all online and offline enquiries (Instagram, website, referrals, walk-ins)
- Nurture incoming leads into confirmed appointments and conversions
- Maintain a disciplined follow-up process so no lead is ever lost or forgotten
- Keep client records, enquiry notes, and pipeline status up to date in the CRM at all times
- Meet response time standards and maintain consistent communication with all prospects
Showroom & Store Operations
- Manage day-to-day showroom operations during appointment and showcase periods
- Handle booking schedules, showroom setup, and readiness before every appointment
- Process orders, conduct stock checks, and submit basic sales reports using internal systems
- Ensure all inventory is handled, secured, and accounted for correctly at all times
- Open and close the showroom following proper procedures without exception
- Support smooth showcase setup and execution in collaboration with the Thailand team
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently meets or exceeds monthly individual sales targets
- Maintains a high appointment-to-conversion rate
- Responds to every enquiry promptly and professionally
- Keeps the CRM accurate and up to date without being prompted
- Delivers a client experience that clients remember and return for
- Handles the showroom and inventory with full reliability and accountability
Employment Terms
- Commission: Performance-based, per Company commission policy
- Schedule: 5 and 6-day alternating week; shifts confirmed monthly based on showcase calendar. Showcase periods involve longer hours (9:00am until the last client appointment is completed). Accumulated time off in lieu is taken as a block after the showcase ends.
- Annual Leave: 14 days (accrues from day one; usable after 3-month probation)
- Public Holidays: 11 gazetted public holidays; day off in lieu where a holiday is worked
- Probation: 3 months
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, client-facing, or customer service roles
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and close in a consultative environment
- Luxury, premium, or fine jewelry experience is a strong advantage
- Warm, genuine, and attentive — someone clients naturally trust
- Detail-oriented and disciplined in follow-up and CRM hygiene
- Comfortable with a results-driven, target-measured environment
- Willing to work evenings and weekends during showcase and campaign periods
- Able to respond to time-sensitive client messages outside of standard hours when needed (e.g. design or production confirmations)
- Based in Singapore with valid right to work
- Passion for fine jewelry and meaningful client experiences
